Moodivate

Description:

The Moodivate app delivers behavioural activation therapy by first providing education about depression and how negative emotions, thoughts and behaviours form a cycle and that breaking that cycle can lead to improvement. Users are then prompted to define their individual values and a list of activities that are consistent with these values. These activities are then scheduled and the effect this has on mood is monitored daily. Users are also prompted to seek social support to help them progress. Adherence to treatment is reinforced by the accumulation of 'badges' and messages of congratulations.
